About us

As you can see from our youngest of five children above, life is sometimes messy, and doesn't always go to plan, but it still makes us smile, and we brought that thought right through to what we use in our home. "Doing things the old fashioned way" can be time consuming, but thanks to up to date fabrics, organic, plant based ingredients and value for money, we truly can have the best of both worlds! We decided to build a site that people could come to, knowing we had sourced ethically aware products that were both ecological and economically viable. We also make sure our carbon footprint is as low as possible by recycling and re-using. If this is not possible, we buy from local businesses and markets here in Yorkshire, therefore fully supporting our local business and the community.

Every single one of the nappies, skin care, sanitary wear and brands of clothing on this site have also been personally road tested by the Barley and Ben families, ensuring our ability to help with whatever questions you have.
